Playing rules and practice guide.
Sudoku: fill each row, column and box with each symbol once. Mini grids use 1–4; classic grids use 1–9. Every published puzzle has a unique solution. Use pencil notes for candidates, Hint for help and the full answer for comparison. Xiangqi: pieces follow their movement rules, palace and river restrictions, including blocked horses and elephants. Never expose your own general or let the generals face along an empty file. Checkmate and stalemate both lose. Same-device games and rooms use a simplified threefold-repetition draw rule; tournament perpetual-check and chase adjudication is not supported. In the library, move both sides freely and use the reference line to compare ideas; alternative branches may continue differently. Go: orthogonally connected stones share liberties. Remove captured groups before checking suicide. Placements cannot repeat an earlier board shape; passing is exempt. After two consecutive passes, agree on dead groups and count living stones plus surrounded empty points, with White komi added once. Dead groups are marked by the players, not decided automatically. Resume play if you disagree. Rooms pair two invited players; there is no computer opponent, public matchmaking, clock or ranking.
