Current advertising status

The site currently does not load advertising scripts or use advertising tracking. Publisher verification metadata and ads.txt identify the publisher; they do not load ads. The advertising sections below explain what applies if advertising is activated, not a claim that ads are already running or that approval has been granted.
Learning progress on your device
Course progress, auto-next preferences, Sudoku entries, pencil notes and the last generated puzzle seed may be stored in your browser's localStorage. The site's code does not send this learning state to a site database. Clearing this site's stored data, including localStorage, removes it; clearing only cached images and files may not. Same-device Xiangqi and Go practice resets on reload.
Invite-only multiplayer rooms
Room boards, moves, seat credentials and results are stored on the server until the room expires, 24 hours after creation; cleanup is scheduled at expiry. Client seat credentials are kept in this tab's sessionStorage and are sent to the server for authentication, including in the secure WebSocket handshake on the HTTPS production site. They are not part of the public room code.
Closing a tab may lose your credentials, but does not release the reserved seat or immediately delete the room. The site has no player profiles or chat. Room abuse limits use a hash derived from the network address and temporary request counters. Hashing is not a guarantee of anonymity.
Google and other advertising providers
If Google AdSense advertising is activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this site and other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to personalize ads using those visits. Other participating advertising vendors or networks may also use cookies; the applicable provider information and choices will be made available when advertising is enabled.
Non-personalized advertising is different from personalized advertising, but may still use cookies for frequency limits, reporting and fraud prevention. Turning off personalization does not necessarily remove ads or all cookies.
Your advertising and privacy choices
You can manage Google's personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. The Digital Advertising Alliance's choices page offers opt-outs for participating third-party vendors, not necessarily every provider. Use the links below. Choices can depend on the browser, device or signed-in account; clearing cookies may reset cookie-based choices.
Where legally required, advertising cookies and use of personal data for personalized ads require consent. Before activating personalized ads for users in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the site must use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB TCF and provide a way to change or withdraw choices. A privacy-policy paragraph or a link to Ads Settings is not that consent mechanism. No advertising consent interface is currently active here because advertising is disabled.
Hosting, correspondence and requests
Cloudflare provides hosting and room infrastructure and may process IP addresses, request headers, timestamps and security logs to deliver and protect the service. Its handling and retention of infrastructure records is separate from the application's room expiry. The application does not include an analytics tracking script, account registration, payment forms or remote fonts.
If you email us, your address, message and any attachments are processed through the mailbox provider to handle the request. We have not set a fixed deletion schedule for correspondence; do not send passwords, seat credentials or identity documents. Handling depends on the request and applicable law, rather than a guaranteed fixed response time. This notice will be updated when relevant data practices change.
