Privacy policy

Calculator inputs and selected files stay in your browser. File Preflight works without an account or server upload.

Local file processing

Image and PDF tools use browser memory to read and transform files on your device. File Preflight does not transmit selected files, filenames or their contents to its servers. The downloaded result is created locally, and closing the tab clears the working data from the tool.

Information we process

File Preflight may collect aggregate usage information including page views, approximate region, device category and referral source. If you separately consent to Google Analytics, we may also record the name and action of a tool used. We do not intentionally send filenames, file contents or calculator input values to analytics.

Local storage

We store your optional Google Analytics preference in the browser so the consent choice does not need to be repeated on every visit.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics helps us measure aggregate visits, referral sources and real-user performance. It is configured without advertising cookies and does not receive the files or calculator values you use.

Google Analytics

When configured by the site owner and accepted by the visitor, Google Analytics 4 helps us understand traffic sources and product usage. Analytics storage remains denied until consent is given.

Advertising

File Preflight does not ship with active advertising. If Google AdSense is enabled later, this policy and the consent mechanism will be updated, and a Google-certified consent management platform will be used where required.
