How it works
A useful result,
without the upload.
Reorder, rotate and delete PDF pages in one private browser tool, then download a clean copy without uploading the original. The file is decoded and processed inside this browser tab, so File Preflight never receives its contents.
Worked example
Move a cover to page one, rotate two scanned pages and remove an accidental blank page.
How to use the Organize PDF Pages
- Choose a PDF file to organize using the file picker.
- Reorder pages by dragging or using the up/down buttons.
- Rotate individual pages using the rotation button (90° steps).
- Remove unwanted pages using the delete button.
- Download the organized PDF and verify the changes.
What happens under the hood
This tool uses pdf-lib to reorganize PDF pages locally. The original PDF is parsed, pages are reordered and rotated as specified, then copied into a new document using pdf-lib's page manipulation functions. No rasterization occurs; vector content and images retain their original quality throughout the process.
Before you send the file
- At least one page must remain in the output document.
- Rotations are applied in 90-degree steps without rasterizing page content.
- Keep the original until you have opened and checked the downloaded copy.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rotate pages by custom angles?
No. Rotations are limited to 90-degree increments (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) as per PDF specification.
Will page content be degraded during organization?
No. Pages are copied as vector content without rasterization, preserving original quality.
Can I undo changes after downloading?
No. Keep the original PDF until you've verified the organized copy meets your requirements.
What happens if I delete all pages?
At least one page must remain. The tool prevents creating empty PDF documents.
Keep an untouched original and inspect the downloaded file before replacing any production asset. Closing this tab removes the selected files from the tool.
